CLinic & self-help Center information

VLP holds pop-up Legal Clinics and Self-Help Centers throughout the year for low-income persons to receive limited-scope legal advice on non-criminal matters. All Legal Clinic and Self-Help Centers provide service in-person only. You do not need to schedule an appointment to attend the Legal Clinics and Self-Help Centers, but attendees are served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Self-help Center DATES & INFORMATION

VLP staffs Self-Help Centers in Buffalo, Madison, and Valley counties throughout the year. See below for more information on each location.

Buffalo County SElf-Help Center

The Buffalo County Self-Help Center operates the first Friday of each month from 10 am - 2 pm at the Buffalo County Justice Center in Kearney (1512 Central Ave, Kearney, NE 68847). Contact Melodie Bellamy at [email protected] with any inquiries.

Madison County Self-help Center

The Madison County Self-Help Center operates the third Friday of each month from 11 am - 1 pm at the Madison County Courthouse in Madison County District Court Office (1313 N Main St., Madison, NE 68748). For any inquiries, contact the Madison County District Court Office at (402) 454-3311, dial option 4.

Valley county self-help center

The Valley County Self-Help Center operates the third Tuesday of each month from 6 - 8 pm at the Ord Public Library (1718 M St., Ord, NE 68862).
