Clinics Program
VLP's Clinics Program is designed to assist with legal matters or inquiries that can be resolved with a short consultation with an attorney or other legal professional. The Clinics Program hosts Pop-up Legal Clinics in Omaha and Lincoln, and a Virtual Self-Help Center which can be accessed from anywhere in the state. Pop-up Legal Clinics and the Virtual Self-Help Center are discussed in more detail below. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer with our Clinics Program, please email our Clinics Managing Attorney, Mara Wilson, at [email protected].

Volunteers meet with walk-in visitors at various community locations to give basic information about the law, distribute available court forms, assist with forms comprehension, and to provide resources and information about free or low-cost legal service providers in the community.
